About Moh
I’m Moh, the trader behind MohTrades. I started trading in 2020 and teaching in 2022. I trade NQ and ES futures and teach a systematic process for planning trades, managing risk, and reviewing decisions.

The systematic process I teach
- Define the rules. Write down the setup, entry, exit, and conditions that rule out a trade.
- Backtest. Test those rules on historical data, including trading costs.
- Validate. Check the strategy on data you didn’t use to develop it.
- Set risk limits. Define position size, risk per trade, and conditions for stopping.
- Execute. Follow the plan and record the decisions behind each trade.
- Review. Compare execution with the plan and decide what needs further testing.
How I started
I started with stocks in a personal account, using support and resistance. I later moved into options, lost money, and reloaded the account.
Trading my own money exposed how much emotion affected my decisions. I eventually moved into futures and made NQ and ES my focus.
What I look for on the chart
I start with higher-timeframe context and a clear liquidity objective. I wait for price to reach an area of interest, then look for lower-timeframe confirmation before considering an entry. I compare NQ and ES to see how they respond to their highs, lows, and key levels.
I define the target, invalidation, and management rules before entering. If the setup doesn’t meet my criteria, I pass. I review whether I followed the plan and managed risk, even when a trade I skipped later works.
The SMCapital community
Inside Discord, I share market analysis and educational resources. Members can discuss trade ideas, ask about the reasoning behind a level and keep the conversation going after a session.
You can see more of the community on the homepage.
Some provider links are affiliate or referral links, and MohTrades may receive compensation through them. The risk disclosure explains those relationships and the limitations of educational and performance material.
